starsSteiner Marine with floatation strap
Very high quality product. It really brightens up the scene in
daylight and low light conditions. For those that don't know 7X50mm
is the preferred configuration for boating. You get a large field of
view which is important when you are on a moving/rocking boat. I find
the 7X magnification fine. I use these on my Jetski as an aid to
my GPS when out exploring in Florida waters. The waterproofing is
great and the rubber armor is superb. A great value, worth the price.

starsMY NEW STEINERS!! WOW!!!
ALL I CAN SAY IS, WOW!! THE PRICE, WOW!! THE QUALITY, WOW!! WOW!! WOW!!

starsGreat German optics for the price!
The marine binoculars 7x50 of Steiner answered my hopes (obviously high). TheX-ray one of sports is large -- improve even on my marine pair that the predatory models which I looked in sports of academy. It makes change object of viewing one into a rapid and easy different. They are very certain too. With the whole of hearth to the narrowest range I can read the buttons on my microwave of through my small low of page. While using to them out of the doors the foliage jumps really outside (even when crossing). In the almost complete darkness they make it possible to see things which the naked eye cannot. I employed them the night when I could hardly see to walk around. The sight by the binoculars was hardly affected whole. Once that I had them the practice to look at back court of my relative, through (six-lane) of a state with another, in the fate of parking of the university of local community the night. I could see the bugs playing around the streetlights! I had not seen this particular pair at the person, thus they astonished me with their light weight -- some had called them on line heavy. They must be the very frail people. This pair is much, much lighter than desiccates the mark those which my parents obtained to me there is 15 years they are smaller. Compared with all the steel binoculars Steiners weigh hardly anything. They are not as light as image-shake is a problem however. The weight combined with the 7 marks of optical report/ratio for an easily stabilized sight. Another thing of note is the 22mm of relief of eye. It is a device very useful to me since I carry glasses. Other binoculars with less relief of eye were problematic for me -- even those with the relief of eye of 19mm made by Steiner. Naturally, for those which do not carry glasses, the rubber eye-cups can be folded outside to reduce the quantity of relief of eye. In this mode people with the normal vision do not seem not to have any problem with them. Up to now I am satisfied with the binoculars in each detail but one. The belt sucks. It is too mean manner, and I could imagine that after one day in the field which the binoculars would really dig in its shoulders with the provided belt. What is little odd is that the case which came with them makes rather beautiful and has a comfortable and broad belt attached it... The package also came with a little fabric cleaning, which was kind of nice contact. For the price, $260 by the Amazon with free forwarding, I think that the marine model 7x50 of Steiner is fantastic. It would be certainly difficult to beat the execution in this scale of price!

starsexcellent low light performance
I have the 7x50 Steiner Ralleye model, which appears to be identical to the Marine version. It is built like a tank and gives you a lot of confidence that it will hold up to abuse. In low light and night conditions this is an excellent performer. If you are using this is an area with a lot ambient light (such as a town) or moonlight, it will really bring a lot of detail out of the shadows and is a better choice by far then night vison equipment costing hundreds more. The 7x magnification is also a nice choice for avoiding lense shake. (I also have a pair of 9x40 Steiners, and that move from 7x-9x power is noticeable.) The 7x50 also allows you to better follow moving targets. The sport auto focus system works very well and the optics are excellent.
